'Floating' is an average day in the life of Municipal clothing. It starts in a tasteful bedroom, spends a few hours in the corner office, leaves work early to get in a round at the golf course, and finally winds down for the night back in a mid-century modern living room. Chill, yet aspirational. Most people would describe me the same way.

Process
The first step was to create the hero clothing. Houdini made it (relatively) easy to follow patterns to create a realistic shirt and pair of pants. The devil is in the details though, so extra time was allotted for creating the stitching and seams. Finally, everything was combined and simulated using Vellum to achieve the floating look.
The environments were built and textured in Cinema 4D. Dialing in the different lighting looks was challenging, but fun. Gobo or go home! Rendering was done using Redshift.
Compositing was done in After Effects using SO MANY AOV passes and some stock images that were not generated by AI.
